Esta obra contribuye a la visibilizaci\u00f3n de las situaciones psicosociales que enfrenta Puerto Rico y el Caribe, plasmando alternativas y acciones concretas desde una perspectiva decolonial. El libro contiene seis secciones: 1) Colonialidad y participaci\u00f3n, 2) Alternativas a situaciones sociales en Puerto Rico, 3) Desastres y recuperaci\u00f3n, 4) Econom\u00eda y la Psicolog\u00eda del trabajo, 5) Intervenciones psicol\u00f3gicas y relaciones interpersonales y 6) Formaci\u00f3n y lenguaje inclusivo. La publicaci\u00f3n cuenta con 24 cap\u00edtulos y dos introducciones de 55 autor\u00edas (profesionales y estudiantes) de las diversas \u00e1reas de la psicolog\u00eda, y otras profesiones como las ciencias sociales, naturales y econ\u00f3micas. Sus autor\u00edas invitan a la psicolog\u00eda como disciplina y profesi\u00f3n a continuar gestando su labor de contribuir a mejorar la salud psicosocial de sus pueblos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Psychology in Puerto Rico: Reaffirmation and transformation from a decolonial perspective<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>P<strong>sychology in Puerto Rico: Contextual Challenges and Challenges for Action<\/strong> is a publication of the Puerto Rico Psychology Association (APPR). This work contributes to the visibility of psychosocial situations facing Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, reflecting alternatives and concrete actions from a decolonial perspective. The book includes six sections: 1) Coloniality and participation, 2) Alternatives to social situations in Puerto Rico, 3) Disasters and recovery, 4) Economics and Work Psychology, 5) Psychological interventions and interpersonal relationships and 6) Training and inclusive language. The publication has 24 chapters and two introductions by 55 authors (professionals and students) from different areas of psychology and other professions, such as the social, natural, and economic sciences.
