The COVID-19 pandemic has left a profound impact on global mental health, highlighting a wide range of psychological manifestations. The CALMA program provided a crucial response with its online Psychological First Aid (PFA) services, assisting thousands of people in Peru and other countries during and after the health emergency. The PFA allowed users to process traumatic experiences and develop coping strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An analysis of data from 10,091 CALMA beneficiaries revealed significant patterns related to gender, age, developmental stage, and geographic location. These findings offer valuable insight into mental health needs during this critical period. As the aftereffects of COVID-19 continue, the evidence underscores the importance of implementing similar services that promote well-being and resilience, both at the individual and collective levels, in the current mental health context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
